As a Pre-Sales Manager you work closely with the regional sales team to qualify and develop strategic and complex sales opportunities for existing customers, new prospects and new market segments.
You are also responsible for providing demonstrations of the Broadpeak solutions to EMEA customers. This includes installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging complex system problems on Proof-of-Concepts involving Broadpeak and associated equipment. It can happen on customers premises, on show floors or directly in the cloud.
The role requires close liaison with external customers, partners and with specialists in the Broadpeak internal Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. You need to be sufficiently mobile to be able to support activities within EMEA areas.
As part of a regional team, the Pre-Sales Manager may be asked to help on some other topics involving the presence of Broadpeak in the EMEA region.
Taking care on post-sales activities is part of the tasks which enter in the Pre-Sales role. The Pre-Sales is the solution owner when the project starts, and the Technical Account Manager when the customer is in production.
Main Responsibilities :
- Support Sales by interfacing with existing and prospective customers to determine their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions.
- Respond on time and accurately to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs and develop strong relationships with key technical players in the account.
- Support Sales activities on a technical level at exhibitions and conferences. This includes assisting with planning and the setup and presenting of demonstrations.
