Broadpeak’s dynamic ad insertion solution, available as a service on the company’s broadpeak.io SaaS platform, enables increased monetization, ease of use, and a short time to market for the delivery of targeted ads.

Broadpeak’s SSAI solution includes the innovative ability to automatically adapt to each end user device, on the fly, to optimize monetization while maintaining an exceptional quality of service and experience for viewers. Most SSAI solutions require fine-tuning in order to stream video on every single device, adding significant complexity, testing, and troubleshooting to the process.
With Broadpeak’s SSAI solution, fine-tuning occurs automatically, with no need for intervention from service providers. If an old device does not support discontinuities provoked by the insertion of ads, Broadpeak’s SSAI solution will bypass dynamic ad insertion to avoid creating a disruptive streaming experience for viewers with interruption. In addition, Broadpeak’s SSAI solution supports manifest rewriting for devices that need a special syntax in case of HLS discontinuities or DASH multi-period.
SSAI at IBC 2023
Broadpeak’s SSAI solution enables video service providers, including AVOD platforms, FAST channels, virtual MVPDs, and broadcasters, to easily monetize HLS and DASH video services and offer contextualized ad delivery. With the solution, video service providers can target ad placements based on user behavior and preferences to drive additional revenue.
