Today’s viewers are accustomed to an already excellent TV experience on the main screen delivered using a STB. However new entrants like OTT service providers have shown that video can be delivered in a scalable and reliable manner to retail devices too, raising viewer’s expectations further. TV service providers are now embracing the same OTT technologies but are challenged to deliver the same or better Quality of Experience (QoE).
