1. Las Vegas Basics: Pack Smart & Plan Fun

Las Vegas sits in the Mojave Desert, meaning it’s typically hot and dry. Check the forecast and pack lightweight clothing, but also bring layers for air-conditioned venues. If you have downtime, Vegas has plenty to offer—shows, concerts, casinos, shopping, and dining (you can find the entertainment official programs here). Planning ahead ensures you make the most of it.

Tips: Cirque du Soleil is one of our team’s favorites!

2. Comfortable Shoes Are Non-Negotiable

The NAB Show spans multiple exhibit halls, so expect to do a lot of walking as well as standing up all day. Comfortable shoes are essential, you’ll thank yourself after a long day on the show floor. Add them to your packing list now!

3. Plan Your Schedule, but Stay Flexible

With four days in Las Vegas, scheduling your meetings in advance is a must. Double-check locations and allow time to move between halls (it can take 10+ minutes to walk from West Hall to South Hall).

Leave space in your agenda for spontaneous conversations, you never know who you’ll run into afterall!

4. Use the NAB Show App

Planning is everything. The NAB Show app helps you browse exhibitors, review the floor plan, check the conference schedule, and get real-time updates. Download it now and start mapping out your must-see sessions and booths. The app is usually available for Android and iOS shortly before the event.

5. Think Green: Reduce Your Impact

Trade shows can be resource-heavy, but small actions help:

  • Use the monorail instead of rideshares.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle. There are refill stations at the venue.

  • Choose digital brochures instead of paper handouts.

  • Politely decline goodies/giveaway if you know you are not going to use them.
  • Support sustainable hotels and restaurants when possible.
